Hi
Kino no longer works for me. Crashing when I try to start it. This is what Bug Buddy gives if it's any help.
Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/kino'

Could anyone help with a solution. I'm running 2.6.6 rc2. Kino 0.7.1 did used to work until quite recently.
Many Thanks |

I can't get it to run either. Had to go back a version.

was the /usr/lib/libgnomeui-2.so.0 file updated recently? i'm running this version of kino w/o issues. i had quite a few packages to manually emerge to get it working initially though. libdv and some packages it was built on.
i'm looking around for ebuilds of the kino plugins (title, etc). know where i could find any to make my life easier? |

I just decided to try to get kino running again and it works fine for me as root except for sound output. If I try to run it as user it will only start up once after I restart X. It works great, captures video off the raw1394, saves to however I want to save it, but if I close kino then try to open it again it just pops up the box "The Application "kino" has quit unexpectedly".
I'm using
to start it but it doesn't matter what way I try to run it except it always starts as root but only once as user till I restart X. |
