ATI Radeon display support + xorg - ?

Anyone did this ? Because I get an error - till I start xorg everything works fine but when I want to exit X org even go for a sec to console screen becomes unreadable - I cannot use console till I reboot system...

Please help

(I have ABIT NF7-S Radeon 9100 kernel 2.6.5)

Lots of people are using ati drivers with xorg, myself included. I don't think I'll be able to provide much help since I didn't have any problems getting setup, but there is info in the forums if you search for it.
