 Ciao ragazzi,sapete se genkernel puo' essere usato su un sistema amd64 o e' solo per x86???perche' sugli handbook in italiano c'e' scritto solo per arch. x86 mentre nella versione inglese non c'e' alcuna limitazione ad alcuna architettura.
Grazie ragazzi,non saprei come fare senza di voi...

Mi accodo qui. Da quando sono passato al 2.6 ho abbandonato genkernel per due ottimi motivi:
a) la procedura del 2.6 è enormemente semplificata;
b) le prime volte genkernel mi faceva solo casino e mi sono stufato.

Non che con il 2.4 dovevi fare molto di piu'... devo dire pero' che nel 2.6 il menu di config e' molto meglio strutturato e questo e' un bene.

personalmente l'unica volta che ho usato genkernel e' stato per compilare il kernel del portatile che avevo appena preso e visto che non conoscevo bene l'hardware e non avevo voglia di fare M, M, M, M, ... per tutto il config, ho provato questo "fantomatico" tool... beh... devo dire che ho ottenuto un ottimo risultato, ora ho persino il framebuffer
