I'm trying to connect via vnc and I keep getting an authentication error. It used to work until I tried tunneling ssh. I changed the config files to to forward X but had changed them back when it didn't work. Since then I can not connect. I also get this in the log file.
Code: | xrdb: No such file or directory
xrdb: can't open file '/root/.Xresources'
|
This file does not exist. Does it matter or should I be looking elsewhere? |

When you tried tunneling did you set the vnc server to only accept connections from localhost? |

Do you know the location of the config file? I've looked everywhere. |

I ran Xvnc and I was able to connect. It also uses tightvnc. When I run vncserver, I'm not able to connect. |
