I had my system all set up, XFS using aa-sources..
First, something's wrong with the 2.6 kernel with respect to vsftpd. Read about the bug..
Second, on copying my backup harddrive contents to the newly loaded one, XFS went on the fritz and just killed everything. My entire /bin was corrupt. I used xfs-repair and the results? it deleted my entire /bin directory!!!
So now I'm reinstalling (for like the millionth time)..
I liked the speed of both XFS and 2.6, but I'm going back to 2.4 +ext3 for right now..
I have no idea why that was, on a `cp -p -R /backup/* /home/` But I thought I'd post an FYI... |
