|
|
Recently I've seen Firefox "mangling" fonts on several lines per page (example). I've only noticed it on the forums so far, but it could be happening on other pages too. Anyone seen this before? _________________ moo

yeah I've noticed this as well. seems to correspond to the text that is a the very bottom of the window when the page is rendered. then when you scroll down the bad lines become noticable. kinda annoying.

Yeah. I noticed that too. Very annoying. Alt-Tab or selecting the text with mouse fixes it temporarily. |

I had a problem similar to this in firefox. I fixed it by adjusting my "Display Resolution" under the fonts & colors setting. Check this value to make sure it set correctly, or tweak it to see if you get any results. |

This problem appears here only in fluxbox.
In Gnome is the Font normal. |

Thanks! This solved the problem. I changed the value of Display Resolution from "System setting" to "72 dpi" and it worked. |

Works like a charm, thanks!
@cenobite: it happens to me in fvwm too, not just fluxbox. _________________ moo |
