I just got done upgradinjg my root account from gnome 2.4 to gnome 2.6. Unfortunately, this caused a real *big* problem! While root works fine, my normal user account which is KDE 3.2.2 has disappeared! When I log in it does not do an automatic login anymore I have to login in, in text mode and type gdm. If I type kdm I get a "command not found" error. If I do gdm and login on gnome as my normal user, it tells me my prefered KDE account does not exist! If I log on to gnome as my normal user, it looks like my KDE account icons translated to gnome only most things don't work (sound, etc.). Does anyone have any idea how I can get my normal user KDE account back? _________________ Lou_The_Blue_Guru
