Hi there!
I go this (pretty nice) digital camera. It's predecessor x20 was working under linux (I tried it with one of a friend). But now, the x21 isn't. Dmesg gives

drivers/usb/core/config.c: invalid descriptor of length 30
usb 2-2: can't read configurations, error -22

Now, looks pretty much like I can't do anything about this (doesn't REALLY matter, for I have a working card reader), but anyway, does someone know more about this, and if I can do something about it? Thanks for any pointer (google turned up nothing for this camers...)

I got right the same camera about an hour ago, so I'll keep you posted if I manage to connect it. At that time, I am trying to add the few usb options missing to my kernel .config (vanilla 2.6.6).
the Knoppix live cd may help as well. |

I am still struggling to make it work. My optical drive is dying, so that I cannot decently use it to boot up a knoppix...
What I have been able to try: compile usb-storage module with any proposed drivers in the menuconfig of the 2.6.6 kernel.
Result (while plugging the camera) :

I have a Dimage X20 and i don't know how should I do for install it, can someone help me ?
I want to use it with gphoto2 and digikam, what is the good config kernel? |
