Twinview or Xinerama ? Geforce MX 440

Hi,

I have a geforce mx 440, it has a conventional monitor hookup and one of the DVI ones.

So far I have been able to get both monitors going separatly [so i know i have my monitor section done properly] that's not a problem.

From reading around thet net i cannot tell which is more favourable Xinerama or Twinview. I have tried both. no avail. I think i got further with twin view.

With xineram config, only 1 monitor ever works.. with twinview and the nvidia drivers i get an error saying that no usable screens found.

Here are my 2 config files i'm trying as well as my logfile from my twinview attempt.

I also get an error about cannot find /dev/nvidiactl ...

I'm quite confused as alot of the examples on the net seem to have different Options in different sections of the cofig for Twinview..

Any help would be great, i'm itching to get this working. thanks.
