I am using Kinternet to connect to my DSL ISP. I use a service called DynIP which alows me to run a server with a dynamic IP.

Using Kinternet I am allowed to run a script when it connects and when it disconnects. The script that runs at connect works:

Quote:
/usr/local/bin/dynipclient

The script that runs at disconnect does not work:

Quote:
/usr/local/bin/dynipclient -k

The dynipclient.pid file is present and the command runs from the terminal.

Why is this script not working in Kinternet?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

I've just installed kinternet on a Gentoo machine that is connected to a SuSE machine with smpppd. Could you give some more information -- are smpppd and kinternet both installed on the same machine? Are they both installed under Gentoo?
