when I try to play an mp3 file it gives me this message
Code: |
Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device. |
my current soundcard is:
Compaq Audio: ......................................... ESS Allegro Audio
Dolby Digital Surround Sound (AC3)
JBL VirtualTheater (V-MAX)
Aureal A3D 360o Positional Sound
FM Synthesis
I also realize that their is a maestro3 module for my sound card, but im not quite sure where/how to install it so it will recognize the module... _________________ emerge grand_styolz
