I would like to see that in action.
as far i can see it depends on xft .. it builds, but when i try to run it i get :
Code: |
[~/skippy-0.4.1] ./skippy
WARNING: Couldn't load config file '/home/ikaro/.skippyrc'.

I know the developer thats making this try going onto #aegis and talk to hyriad to get more of an idea of what to do. From what i've heard skippy is pretty new so theres a few bugs to be worked out. _________________ Great Resources |

I gave it a try.
It is working fine with gnome, but I can´t get it to work with kde.
I´m getting the same error you get when I try to run it with kde.
There is an other strange issue. I copied the skippyrc-default to ~/.skippyrc but it somehow was deleted when restarting X the first time. Now it seems to work though. _________________ The computer can't tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows.

That's odd. It builds and works fine for me.
Relevant versions:
x.org 6.7.0
openbox 3.2-r1
imlib2 1.1.0
xft 2.0.1-r2
Now, trying to figure out how to set up the rc file seems to be quite daunting given the documentation (or lack thereof).
