|

Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded gtk+ in my system to gtk+-2.4.0-r1. After doing so, I've been unable to open several Gnome apps, like totem for instance, with an error stating: Illegal Hardware Instruction. Anybody has any idea what my be the problem?
I did rebuild the theme engines as the gtk+ package suggested. Do I have to rebuild the entire gnome package? Rebuilding totem only, has not yielded any success.
I use Gnome 2.6.0.
Thanks! |

You could try to run revdep-rebuild -p to see what needs a recompile.
(revdep-rebuild is part of the gentoolkit) _________________ The computer can't tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows.

Tried. I got nothing useful out of it. Three packages were selected for rebuild, none of them related to Gnome (Open-Office, Opera, ImageMagick). |
