How to do grub rescue without /usr/share/grub/i386-pc dir

ok, I found how to mount it. I do, however, have an issue with grub. How do I do a grub rescue if the shared i386 subdir for grub was deleted?

If you haven't noticed, the idea behind computers has gotten way out of hand. One has to realize that they were created in the firt place to make life easier... if they aren't, then there is something that needs to change.
