Hallo Leute,
ich habe seit dem 2.6.6 Kernel ein kleines Problem mit meinem 19 Zoll TFT. Ich habe eine Auflösung von 1280x1024 laufen und der Monitor läuft aus irgend einem Grund auf 75Hz anstatt der TFT- typischen 60 Hz. In der XF86Conf habe ich schon ein wenig rumgespielt ohne Erfolg. Einen Auszug findet ihr hier:

Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand sagen, woran es liegt. Und dann habe ich noch eine kleine Frage. Ich habe leider vergessen, wo ich im Kernel einstellen kann, dass beim Boot des Rechners die Kernel- Meldungen in einer Auflösung 1280x1024 dargestellt werden und nicht in einer Schrift für Blinde

So, mein Problem hat sich erledigt. Hatte ein ATI Tool für die 3D- Beschleunigung laufen lassen. Das blöde ****tool hat mir die XF86Config ein wenig zerschossen. Hab dann Nägel mit Köpfen gemcht und mir mit xf86vonfig eine neue XF86Config gebaut
Dummerweise läuft die 3D- Beschleunigung jetzt wieder net |

Hi,
in die Section Monitor gehören die richtigen Parameter für deinen Monitor:
z.B. VertRefresh 60
bei dir siehts schwer nach Röhrenmonitor aus.

Jep Habe soweit wieder alles am Laufen, bloss die 3D- Beschleunigung will noch nicht wie sie soll!!! Der Rest läuft schon wieder Aber trotzdem danke! |

Wenn Du eine Karte mit ATI Chip und die ATI-Treiber installiert hast, warum zum Teufel benutzt Du dann nicht das richtige Konfigurationsprogramm?
Für ATI heißt dies "fglrxconfig" unter "/opt/ati/bin/"! Danach noch ein "opengl-update ati" dann müsste es laufen.
Und was hast Du gegen 75 Hz? Ich habe hier zwei FSC C19-1 19" Monitore deren Frequenzbereich liegt horizontal bei 30-80 KHz und vertikal bei 55-75 Hz. Angesteuert werden sie mit 75 Hz. Und das richtigerweise, denn es ist besser wenn die Wiederholrate höher angesetzt wird.
Und die 60 Hz die Du im Kopf hast, verwechselst Du mit der Frequenz eines Notebooks! Die fahren mit 60 Hz, nicht die normalen TFTs.

Hall Reiner,
bisher liefen ALLE TFTs, die ich jemals in der Hand hatte, mit 60 Hz. Das ist eigentlich Standard für TFT und gilt nicht nur für Notebooks. Wenn mein 19 Zoll Samsung Syncmaster auf 75 Hz läuft, dann flackert das Bild. Bei 60 Hz tut er das nicht.

Also bei mir flackert nichts. Vielleicht is FSC doch besser?
Und was ist mit fglrxconfig? Dort kannst Du ja auch einen einzelnen festen Wert für die Sync eingeben.

fglrxconfig (das von ati mitgelieferte) hat leider nur bewirkt, dass mein TFT auf 75 Hz läuft, auch wenn ich Horizontal- und Vertikalfrequenz von Hand eingebe. Konsequenz war, dass ich anschliessend wieder ein xf86config laufen liess, um meine X- Einstellungen wieder hinzubekommen. Aber ich werde mich am Wochenende noch einmal in Ruhe davor setzen |

Nein, bin nur eine armer Student für Wirtschaftsinformatik , der froh war, dass er sich einen Monitor der Größe leisten konnte |

So was habe ich vor vielen Jahren auch mal angefangen, bis ich mich für was vernünftiges entschieden habe.
Aber bei der derzeitigen Marktlage ist Informatik alles andere als eine gute Entscheidung.
