I have a problem whereby i'm getting compile errors on large packages like kde & openoffice, so I ran memtest & got 2 errors. So rather that trying to figure out which RAM stick is at fault I thought I would give BadRam a go.
Does anyone know if BadRam included in any of the 2.6.* kernel sources?

I know it's in love-sources and in lokean-sources. I don't know if it's in anything that is in portage... _________________ "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." - Abraham Lincoln

I don't think it is, since it's showing up as a patch for the 2.6.x kernel on the author's homepage: http://rick.vanrein.org/linux/badram/download.html
I have 46 errors and I'm about to install the patch and try to bypass them. I hope it works. _________________ Thanks,
