i think i made an error when making my reiserfs fs on /dev/hdb3. i should normally be able to mount it like so from the livecd right?
Code: | mount -t reiserfs /dev/hdb3 /mnt/gentoo |
it gives me some error about not finding a valid reiserfs partition or something, i dont remember the full error. i stumbled upon this when trying to fix a problem from booting up:
Code: | Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on /dev/hdb3 |
so i definitely messed up on making the reiserfs on /dev/hdb3 right? _________________ John5788 |
