Hi!
I've got SAMBA installed and everything works fine except that when I first
boot into my computer or if I restart SAMBA, I have to wait about 10 mins
before I'm able to browse the network.
The error that gets spit out by XFCE's network browser during the 10 mins is:
Code: |
Looking for master browsers...
XFSAMBA> nmblookup -M -- -
querying __MSBROWSE__ on 127.255.255.255
querying __MSBROWSE__ on 192.168.0.255
name_query failed to find name __MSBROWSE__#01
|
I don't know if it matters but my /etc/hosts file has 3 nameservers,
2 are actual DNS servers and the last is the router's IP - 192.168.0.1
Is this normal?
Thanks,
