Ich hab auf meinem Notebook grad q3 installiert.
Es ist aber alles viel zu dunkel (standardsettings)
Aber wenn ich die helligkeit mit r_gamma oder im menue umstelle passiert nix.
Es wird nicht heller.

Ich hab schon alle moeglichen cmds durch probiert.
r_intensity (intensity hilft schon was, aber das is eher eine sehr schlechte notloesung..)
r_ignotehwgamma...

Hilft aber alles nix... Es wird nicht Heller
Graka ist eine Ati Radeon 9600 mit den ati treibern (kein dri :))


Hat jemand eine idee an was das liegen koennte?

ich kannte xgamma schon..
Is halt auch nur eine notloesung. Aber da kann man wohl nix machen.

Kannst auch erstmal folgendes versuchen:

/r_ignorehwgamma 1

wenn's net den gewünschten Effekt hat, dann

/r_ignorehwgamma 0
/r_overbrightbits 0

damit der Brightness-Slider wieder funktioniert und versuch mal

/r_mapoverbrightbits x

wobei x ein Wert zwischen 2 und 3 ist.

scheint nen Bug in denn Ati Treibern zu sein. Ich kann ebenfalls in ET oder Q3 denn Gamma wert ändern.

Das normale xgamma hat genau gar nichts getan.
Das war die Loesung :)
