I still can't get firefox or mozilla to look right.

Hi all,
I posted about a week ago with problems getting firefox, thunderbird, mozilla to look right with my new gentoo install.

I've re-ermeged gtk, firefox about 4 times. the most recent I had USE="kde qt -gnome -gtk2 cdr" . I've tried switching the order of the USE flags and changed -gtk to -gtk2.

Whenever I finnish a firefox build and start it from a command prompt it "wigs" out my desktop. everything turns a purple/pink with high contrast color when the firefox window is in the forground.

I love using the firefox browser with windows. But I hate Gnome. I don't want to lose my fav browser because of QT/GTK issues....

Has anyone else seen this problem? does anyone know where to begin looking for the problem?
