Just did an "emerge sync" and then did "emerge --update --deep -pv world".
At the end of the output I got this:

[ebuild U ] gnome-base/gnome-2.6 [2.4.2] -accessibility +cdr -doc -dvdr [empty/missing/bad digest]

This makes gnome not installable. |

Wouldn't it need to know what files to download and what-not?
edit: Upon further inspection, I was wrong. The gnome-2.6 ebuild itself doesn't seem to require any other files. We'll see what happens once it gets to compiling that section. It would be nice though, if the package would respond with something other than what looks like (at first glance) an error message of sorts. |
