Any month from here, mrproject became planner.
Has anyone any idea howto unmerge mrproject ?

Any month from now? I hope the devs are using those GANTT charts....
Anyhow. why would a simple emerege -C mrproject not work? _________________ [B]ut the undertaking was impossible from the very beginning and of all the impossible ways of carrying it out, this was the least interesting.

simply because of that error.
TooneQBIC root # emerge unmerge mrproject
--- Couldn't find mrproject to unmerge.
>>> unmerge: No packages selected for removal.

And the the application is there :
TooneQBIC root # mrproject --help
Usage: mrproject [OPTION...]
--load-modules=MODULE1,MODULE2,... Dynamic modules to load
Help options
-?, --help Show this help message
--usage Display brief usage message |

Yea I know it's an old thread.
Anyway for me this worked:
Unmerging planner also removed the mrproject files.
# emerge planner -Cv
# find / -name *mrproject*
Then removed the remaining files by hand.
After that simply reinstalled planner.
# emerge planner -v
hth
