My current Linux system was the old SQL server, and it has a SCSI DDS-3 tape drive I'd like to use. The problem is that a) I don't have the first clue how to use it and b) the documentation I've read doesn't seem to lend itself to n00bs.
Any recommendations on a good step-by-step on setting up regular tape backups? |

"man mt" will teach you the basics of handling your tape drive. As a client-server backup tool I recommend afbackup. |
