Hi. For about a million reasons that I won't go into, the only way I can install Gentoo right now is by booting the Livecd from my hard drive. I have all the files on a bootable partition, but I don't know how to edit the MBR so it actually boots the "cd".
Please help! |

Do you have a linux system installed on that box already?
If so, you should take a look at the "alternative install guide".
I don't think you can boot from an iso image. If you dumped that to a partition, I guess
it could work, but I've never tried that. What bootloader do you have? |
