emerge kde finished... missing files?

So I emerge kde last night, and this afternoon it finished. I'm following the desktop tutorial, so i try to run Xf86config. I can't find it anywhere. I looked in the directory it said it was in, but it wasn't there. i ran "find / Xf86config" but that came back with nothing.

any ideas?

All standard Unix filesystem types have case-sensitive filenames (sorry, Apple). If you had used find's "-iname" option, you would have picked up /usr/X11R6/bin/xf86config.

EDIT: As it's past the scope of the install guide, this belongs in Desktop Environments.
