Sound Help

Hi,
i have a creative sound blaster live 5 and im running gnetoo 2004.1 with a 2.6 kernel. wehn i try emerging em10k1 it says that this is not for 2.6 kernel, only for 2.4 ... is there something else to emerge to get my soundcard to work.. because it isnt working at the moment. thanks in advance

IIRC, the kernel ALSA has emu10k1 included?
