Moin!

Yesterday I finally installed gentoo on my real maschine (before it was banned in VMWare).

I installed Gentoo in stage3, because i didnt get much traffic for my adsl connection, so i hadn't connect to the inet during the installation process.

Now my problem is: i got a running system with kde, but i am not able to connect to the internet. How can i set up my internet connetion? Probably it will be an emerge, but who knows?

The best way would be to run the adsl-setup script again, but it seems that it isnt installed.

if you want to use your adsl connection like that you can:

Code:
 emerge rp-pppoe

or you can do it with kernel pppoe support. haven't tried that tho since i'm behind a router

I don't think I had to emerge anything - just run adsl-setup to set up the account, and then adsl-start to connect (adsl-stop to disconnect).
