printing of images: they come out all green.

yes. printing of text works all fine, but as soon as i print images my printer seems to forget that he has black or any colors besides green, so everything comes out, indeed, green. as i said, when printing text everything works fine...
i use a HP deskjet 710c, configured according to the gentoo-printing-howto.

also gimp-print doesnt seems to have disappeared since i upgraded to gimp2. i already tried reemerging it, but no dice.

Are you sure that your colors are all filled? Does the cups test print look ok?

yea, the test print looks absolutely spiffy. all the colors are there.

...except that i just noticed i have some weird green lines in some of the colors. but at least the colors are *there*.

same problem here, even changing the ink levels in cups configuration didn't help.

I gave in and went and bought another ink cartridge set, that did the trick. I'm using the gimp-print drivers, because when I uesd the cups ones, they just printed solid black pages, wasting all my new ink.
