I have a logitech optic mouse usb .. i have usb support added into the kernel ( the mouse also lights up so i know its there) dmesg sees the mouse and recognizes it.. basically the house moves as sluggishly and skips around on the page.. any ideas? |

Have you made sure the surface you're moving on is something that will work with an optical mouse? Some surfaces on my optical will result in the mouse jumping around. |

the mouse works fine in windows.. so yes.. the surface i am using it on works fine .. thanks for replying |

I used to have a similar problem...I'm not sure what fixed it, but in the mean time dmesg got spammed with hundreds of errors about dropped bytes. Is anything like that happening to you? |
