gnomish icons for KDE?

hi!

I'm a long time kde user (actually I should try gnome one day..) and I really like it. What I like about gnome is it's 'polished', 'serious', 'slick' look .. which relies mostly on the icons, I think.

so my question (I already searched kde-look but didn't find anything good): do you know of a kde icon theme with this, say, polished look? (I'm not sure if it's clear what I mean, but in my opinion, kde icon themes are always rather colorful, funny and a bit exaggerated or even childish :-)

) [and yes, sometimes I like a look like that - but not always]

(and no - this isn't a KDE/GNOME flame thread, there's another one around :-)

If you emerge redhat-artwork you'll have the bluecurve icons.

I'd like the icons to be set up themselves for all my system, so choosing each icon myself would be rather tedious- which I would have to do with the gnome-icons, if I get it right.

For the bluecurve icons - this is not the look that I wanted. I'm sorry, but I have no screenshot right at hand, but look here:

.. I mean the Icons like those for bluefish, bugs, galeon, gimp, gnucash, pan newsreader, mono, x windows ..

perhaps these are not even the gnome standard icons .. but so can anyone tell me if I can get a similar look for kde?

Hmmm, maybe its just me but I dont really think that Gnome really looks all that slick.
