Only getting mono sound with my Leadtek 2000xp Deluxe

I'm setting up a Mythtv box and I'm only getting mono sound with my Leadtek 2000xp Deluxe.

I'm running an Asus AV7X8 (The one with the Via 333/400 chipset) and using the onboard sound. I can play music cds and mp3s back with full stereo sound, but all my recordings and playback from the tv are only in the left channel.

I ran "amixer" to see what my line in was set to.
It says "Left and Right" also mentions Mono sound, but then it also states "Mono playback: off".

Any have a thought of how to fix this? Thanks!

Is there an amixer switch option to make my line in stereo instead of mono?
