hi everybody,
i have weird things going on with every gecko-based browser. when i load a page (local or remote) and start scrolling my cpu goes up to 100%.
i don't think this is right.....
i tried using phoenix, but it's still the same.
some system specs:
- gentoo lionux 1.4rc1
- via apollo kt133 mb
- amd TB 1,3 gHz
- 256 mb ram
- geeforce4 TI 4600 with latest nv drivers
and a monitor, a mouse.....and liiike a keyboard and stuff
i would really apreciate any help with this since it's really getting an my nerves.

What CFLAGS are you using? If they include "-march=athlon" or some derivative of that and "-O3", could you try recompiling it with -O2? _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Are you using gtk2/Gnome2? There have been reports of wierdness with Mozilla and gtk2 (in fact, it even hit me).
If you have gtk2 enabled in your USE string, try disabling it. (Its ok to leave gtk in there.) |
