Hi! I was wondering where would I disable the AA fonts in Mozilla? I'm working from a laptop and those fonts are really irritating, which is a shame since I really like the browser! :) I've looked at the font preferences, but there is nothing there about AA fonts. It's also the only application so far that uses them.

Thanks a lot for the info!

i cant answer your question but are you sure its AA that you are having trouble with...you might disable it through your desktop, i.e. gnome or kde.
what exactly is the trouble your having...like how do the fonts look bad

Yeah, it's AA in the fonts that Mozilla uses inside its browser windows. Like I said, it's the only application that is using anti-aliased fonts, and they are disabled in KDE. All other applications and browsers (netscape, opera, konkeror, and galeon was before, recompiling as I'm writing this, so not sure how after... heh) are not using AA fonts. The problem is just that AA fonts on a TFT screen do no look nice at all, as they are really blurry.

ok ....just checking...i use a crt but have seen what you mean when setting up systems in windows using lcd's. did you delete the .mozilla directory in /home/user before you started recompiling it? good habit to get into especially when having an issue or upgrading to a newer release.
