|
|
I just emerged my system and it upgraded to gnome 2.6 and thew newest nautilus, and a bunch of other stuff (81 packages in total). Well everything works fine now except my icons in nautilus are all the same. A (rather bad) picture of a blank page with the corner folded over. Everything is this icon, even folders. The only things that don't have this icon is images which show their thumbnail. any ideas? thanks. |

Possibly you were using an icon set for 2.4.
Select a different theme, for example crux from Applications->Desktop Preferences -> themes and see if the icons are now ok. _________________ Nothing is ever easy

Switching the themes does what you want except
the icons. Everything can be changed but the icons
are all the same... |

Found the problem!
Just emerge or update the packages
control-center and
metacity
It will fix that and it works much better than before! |
