Hi,
Dies ist mein erster Post und ich hoffe ich mach hier nix verkehrt.
Ich hab mich wirklich tagelang jetzt schon mit der Webcam beschäftigt, jedoch ohne erfolg. Das Problem ist das ich es einfach nicht schaffe das MIC das in die Cam eingebaut ist zum laufen bekommen.
Ich benutze Kernel 2.6.6 und habe snd-usb-audio als Modul compiled.

Sei mir nicht böse, aber ich bin mir eigentlich ziemlich sicher, dass in der Kamera selber kein Mikrofon eingebaut ist.
Ich habe die erst letztens bei jemandem installiert und da war definitiv kein Microfon dabei.
Da du unter Windows aber ja anscheinend eines zur Verfügung hast, würde ich mal darauf tippen, dass dein Computer irgendwo anders ein Mic eingebaut hat. Du solltest also versuchen, das ans laufen zu kriegen.
Wenn ich die Logitech Seite und Amazon richtig verstehe, dann braucht man noch zusätzlich ein Microfon für dieses Kamera.
Sollte ich mal wieder Blödsinn erzählt haben, so bitte ich schonmal präventiv um Entschuldigung.

Hmmm also die Version die ich habe ist auf der Logitech Seite nicht mehr vertreten. Ich wüsste ehrlich gesagt nicht wofür sonst die schlitze in der Webcam sind. Sieht echt aus wie ein Mic. Ist schon eine Zeit her das ich sie unter meiner Windoof kiste am laufen hatte. Naja danke trotzdem für den Hinweis. Vielleicht find ich irgendwo noch das Manual dafür dann hab ich mehr Sicherheit.

die Logitech® QuickCam® Express hat keine integriertes Microfon. Die derzeite aktuelle Version mit 640 x 480 Pixeln (ich gehe davon aus das du die alte mit 320x240 Pixeln hast) wird ebenfalls ohne integriertem Microfon ausgefliefert.
