Hallo

Ich möchte mein Gentoo von Mandrake(lilo) starten. Ich habe meinen Getookernel mittels genkernel gebacken.

Code:

image=/boot/kernel-2.4.26
        label=gentoo
        read-only
        append="init-/linuxrc real_root=/dev/hdb3"
        root=/dev/ram0
        initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.26


Lilo findet die Datei /boot/kernel-2.4.26 nicht. Ich habe die Gentoo Root Partition
gemountet und richtig die Datei kernel-2.4.26 gibt es nicht.
Habe ich bei der Installation von Gentoo was übersehen?

hmm..
eigentlich sollte genkernel die dateien automatisch nach /boot kopieren ..
schau mal was es da sonst noch so an dateien gibt (ls -la /boot)...

eventuell ein tippfehler? oder ist /boot auf einer anderen partition?
ansonsten schau nochmal ins handbuch ;)

ausgeführt? Sonst liegt dein Kernel in Deiner root-Partition und dein Bootmanger such vergeblich auf der boot-Partition danach.
