Hi!

I have a strange Problem with xfree:
Sometimes when I start my computer and get the GDM-Loginscreen the font is thinner than usual. When I restart X (with CTRL-ALT-BKSPC) the font is the "normal" bold one. If I login with the "thin" font displayed, X works as normal but SOME fonts are different.

Some Time ago i installed several font packages because I wanted some truetype-fonts. Unluckily I forgot what I installed and what (if any!) changes I made to the xfree and xfs-config files.

Any pointers how I can analyse where the problem is?
Where I can get the default xfree/xfs-config files and the a list of the default fonts?
Will re-emerging xfree and all installed fonts work?

Thanks in advance for any hints.
