I got a box running gentoo at home and want it to fetch mail from two mail accounts, my school mail and my personal, using pop3 on both.

I then want to be able to read and organise it through a web interface (apache and php is up and working).

I've read some and figured I might need fetchmail, procmail and squirrelmail?
But I don't really know how or even if this is the best solution to my problem.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

yes.
the fetch/proc/squirrel solution might strike you as a bit complicated, but in the end, it all works very well. i'd suggest you take a look at this thread:
