I'm using udev and 2.6.5 kernel and have never had my cardreader working which sucks, I've read lots of instructions but this seams to be a stopping point. any pointers would be useful |

I do remember seeing an option in the kernel config to enable legacy /proc/scsi
Somewhere in device drivers -> SCSI
I guess it has a replacement now... |

Under 2.6 a lot of bus-related status info has been moved under the sysfs. The legacy /proc interfaces have been deprecated and will most likely be removed entirely come 2.7 and beyond. There's still options for them present in the kernel, just enable them and everything should be right. The SCSI one is under Device Drivers -> SCSI Support. _________________ Wasurenaide...
