I speak french ... so excuse me for my bad english.
I want to know how gentoo organize the LOCALE information.
On my machine (gentoo 1.4) all the locales seems to be in /usr/share/lib.
On the other side, some products (fluxbox) store their information in /usr/share/locale.
Can somebody explain?
Thanks |

I am using 1.2, but I don't have a /usr/share/lib directory. My locale information seems to be in /usr/share/locale, as you said. |

Excuse me for this late reaction.
I emerge glibc this day and glibc create all locales infos in usr/lib/locale NOT in /usr/share/locale
Is this normal?
For my daily use I copied the fr_BE directory to /usr/share/locale. |
