Hi!

I've a simple question: To whom / where should I report an outdated ebuild, or that there are new versions of a portage app?

Thanks in advance,
rafael

I believe the correct way to go about that is by filing a bug report, but I'm not 100% sure.

You can file a bug report in bugzilla requesting a ebuild. Such bug reports are generally ignored though unless you attach a working ebuild. Follow these directions for contribuing ebuilds:
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-howto.xml#doc_chap2
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/ebuild-submit.xml

Start with simple version bumps. Often nothings needs to be changed, or just a version number here or there.
