I needed to knock up a quick linux box.. and Gentoo is my only choice (personally), so I thought I'd try the new anaconda installer..
It worked perfectly.. its was damned quick and flawless.. !!!
Now don't get me wrong.. I still prefer doing it myself.. but this whole process took me less than 30 mins to install Gentoo 2004.0
Nicely done package.. and its gonna increase the uptake of Gentoo, but at the same time.. decrease the level of skill in out userbase...
Its a trade.. but is it a fair one..??

How does the Anacaonda installer work?
Does it compile from source, do a stage 3, or what? |
