Hi everyone!

I'm getting some weird readings when trying to retreive my CPU temp.

acpi -t -B gives:
Code:
Thermal 1: ok, 4294967296.0 degrees C

cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/temperature gives:
Code:
temperature:             -127 C

It's obvious that neither readout is correct. How do I get it to show a more reasonable value?

Install lm_sensors and configure it.
These might still be off, but less than the ones you get ;-)

Isn't there another/easier way to fix it...? It used to work fine before, without lm_sensors... :?
