Hello,

when I burn a cd (a gentoo iso image to be exact) with k3b, my whole system gets jumpy and slow, ie. mouse cursor jumps around, buttons react to clicks about 5 secs later. The faster the burning speed, the slower the system (burning speed also jumps around, like 14x...11x...17x..) . Is this normal? I think in some cases the system was smooth while burning, but I dont think I changed something. cdrecord runs suid rood and k3bsetup doesnt complain or anything.
