Ok, this seemed like a fairly straight foward google, but it wasn't.
I've been looking for information on what the default groups in gentoo are for ( bin, wheel, audio, adm etc...). and from these boards and from the docs on gentoo.org I figured out wheel is to grant users the ability to use su and audio was for sound card access, but what about the rest of them.
I tried a google, but all I came up with was that there are a lot of Linux User Groups in Canada. Well that's good to know, and I'm glad my freindly neighbors to the north enjoy linux too... But that doesn't help me at all!!!
Anyaway if it's not to much trouble, and it's not a big secret everyone has conspired to keep from me, could someone point me to the apropriate documentation for Gentoo's default groups. if worse comes to worse (ie. there are no docs) let me know what you figured out on your own about what these are for.
Thanks
