|

I just wanted to announce a new site that I'm building up that will hopefully become a useful resource for tweaking and seting up gentoo just the way we like it.
Right now its not much, but if you want to submit tips etc or just make comments or suggestions please do.

looks cool - here's an idea - why not collect all the ebuilds posted on the forums and put them in the Files sections. |

Thats a good idea in respect to the ebuilds. Right now I've got a couple of HOWTO's that I've pulled from the forum, I'm also working on creating a database of the most popular tips and tricks etc.
Just a curious question, is it bad for me to take content thats posted here and put it on my site. I don't want to upset anyone by ripping content, but I figured it would be easier to get the more pertinant information here and combine it into one site.
Let me know of your opinions on this |

I have no problem with this as long as you credit the original sources. A link back to the original forum threads would be nice, too, in case new information gets posted here that you haven't included yet. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Thanks rac, I appreciate the positive feedback, I will link back to the articles that I get the information from.
I also would appreciate any help with my site, not sure if anyone wants to help, but drop me a msg or something. |
