strangely this happens exactly with the two ebuilds i would use to get my wlancard running -_-;;
eg. ndiswrapper and ipw2100.

nevermind, i managed to get it to work.
it's a pretty dirty way of doing it, and i'm sure you can do it in a much more elegant way, but basically i changed my features in make.conf to this:
| Code: | | FEATURES="-sandbox -userpriv -usersandbox -ccache -distcc buildpkg" |
that did it.
