Greetings !
I can't really tell when this started, but I have had the following issue for some time now:

I usually log in to a remote machine with ssh -X
Everything works fine, but only for a few minutes. If I don't use any X programs for a while and then start one, say gv, I get

Code:

Xlib: connection to "localhost:10.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key

Note that immediately after a login, there is no such problem.

It is not on the server side. I don't have those problems with cygwin.
