i use the gentoo live cd boot the computer, and the display show "OUT OF TIMING" and i cant see any thing, how can i fix this wrong ,thanks |

What kind of monitor do you have? It sounds like when the livecd kicks into framebuffer mode, the scanrate is too high for your monitor. I'd suggest typing in "gentoo-nofb" at the boot prompt when you boot off the cd. |

BTW: not type in "gentoo-nofb", only type in "nofb" ok |

Whoops. Thanks for the correction. I believe it's on the 2004.1 cd that you have to type gentoo-nofb.
Anyways, I'm glad it's working now. |
