rc-update and wireless-config

Hi to all:

I'm using wireless-config 0.4.6 but for any reason , at start, it brings down ath0 and then brought it up again... failing (or not bringing it up, making all services like samba or privoxy failing). But when i do manually /etc/init.d/net.ath0 start after, it all goes well!! What can be the problem?

I'm using madwifi drivers from the portage, but compiled them manually (because trying to merge have a lot of problems). And I autoload the modules wlan, ath_pci and ath_hal.

Other things i've tried is to change the runlevel from default to boot and appear other problems with samba... /var/log/messages says:
Jun 6 00:36:28 krynn rc-scripts: Failed to configure wireless for ath0

Jun 6 00:36:38 krynn rc-scripts: Failed to configure wireless for ath0

I'm a bit desperate right now... and sleepy!!

I've also changed /etc/conf.d/wireless to:

essid_ath0="Krynn"
iwconfig_ath0="essid Krynn channel 6 mode Managed"
ifconfig_Krynn="192.168.1.34 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255"

And now i always get an error with rc referencing lines 306 and 826, with don't exist!! I don't understand anything...

Can anyone help me?
